Model 1917 flash hiders still in cosmoline.

Purchased from NUMRICH/GUN PARTS

Misidentified as M8 Flash Hider Casings.
L/H British marked or possibly Canadian

Center has few rust spots

R/H is like new.
The end of the hider fits right over the muzzle gland. Turn it to the right and the two dots lock into place in two small depressions on the muzzle gland. These aparently didnt hold up very well and they designed the M1923 beer can flash hiders.
