Note: See description below
The rear sight leaf originally is calibrated for '06 ammunition, and is graduated to 2600 yards elevation. These original
sight leafs are being replaced by later models calibrated to an elevation of 3300 yards. The use of older sight leafs with
M1 ammunition, or conversly the new sight leaf with '06 ammunition is not practical, at ranges beyond 800 yards,
without corrections in sight setting to correct for the different trajectories involved.

Note: This manual was made in Great Britain for the
Browning Machine Gun. This is a WW1 sight. Probably
had plenty of them to give away.
